Diana is a goddess of childbirth and of all things untamed. She is a protector of women, and the patroness of the common people (plebeans). She is commonly associated with Artemis. Diana's festival in Rome took place on August 13th. Her sacred stones are amethyst, moonstone, and pearl.

Diana Nemorensis: A goddess worshipped in a grove in Aricia with Egeria and Virbius.
