Flora is the goddess and personification of spring, fertility, and flowering plants. It is she who makes trees blossom. Her temple in Rome was near the Circus Maximus. Flora's main festival, the Floralia, lasted from April 27th to May 3rd. She also had a lesser festival on August 13th. She was known as Chloris by the Greeks.
