Minerva is the goddess of arts, crafts, skill, war, and intelligence. She had a shrine on the Caelian Hill and a temple on the Aventine. Her main festivals were held on March 19th, June 19th, and September 13th. She was part of the Capitoline Triad along with Jupiter and Juno.

She was one of the deities appropriated from the Etruscans, and was associated with Athena, Nerio, and Flanona.
