Nun is the consort of Naunet, and one of the eight primeval deities who formed the Ogdoad. He helped in the creation of the world, according to writings found in Hermopolis. In art,Nun appears as a frog-headed man. He may also appear as a man half submerged in water and supporting the gods who came from his body. Nun often wears a crown with the soar disc and feathers. |
