The Parcae are goddess of birth, the Roman version of the Fates of Greek mythology. They are: Nona, Decima, and Morta. The Parcae are often equated with Celtic mother goddesses, who also often appear in groups of three.
Parca is a Roman goddess who presides over births. After the Romans conquered Greece she became associated with the Moerae (The Fates), and became a triple goddess.
