Satis is the goddess of the Nile floods, and the guardian of Egypt's southern border. She might have originally been a goddess of the hunt. Her cult center is in Elephantine, and she is commonly worshipped with Khnemu and Anket.

In art, Satis appears as a woman wearing the white horned crown of Upper Egypt and carrying an ankh.
