Saturn is the god of the harvest, fertility, agriculture, seed sowing, and blight. He is the husband of Ops and the father of Picus. His main temple in Rome was located at the bottom of the Capitoline Hill. Saturn is often associated with Cronos.

Saturn's festival is the Saturanalia, which was held from December 17th to December 23rd. Saturnalia was originally a one day festival celebrated on the Winter Solstice (~December 21st), but it was expanded during the Late Republic.
