Gender: Female

Skadi is the giant goddess of winter and of the chase. She was originally the wife of Njord (she was tricked into marrying him), but left him for Odin. It was she who hung the cup of venom over Loki's head to punish him for arranging the death of Balder.

In art, Skadi is depicted as a woman wearing a short, white hunting dress, white fur leggings, and silver armour. On her feet she wears white snowshoes, and she carries both a spear and a bow with arrows. She may or may not have wolves or dogs with her.
