Nemean Games:
The Nemean Games were held to honor Zeus at his sanctuary at Nemea. They took place every two years on the second and fourth years of the Olympiad. The prize at the Nemean Games was a wreath of Wild Celery Leaves.

The games were originally under the control of Cleonae, but were taken over and enlarged by Argos in 573 BCE and became Pan-Hellenic.
